St. George Apple Fest receives $7,200 in federal funding

St. George – The St. George Apple Fest has received a federal government grant of $7,200 to put on the 25th Annual St. George Apple Fest.  The announcement was made today by Brant MP Phil McColeman.  The festival runs Sept 19th and 20th.

“The festival has become a big part of Fall in our community.” said McColeman.  “It brings people together, and it brings in folks from all over.  Those tourist dollars are important in these tough economic times.”
