Paris – The Paris Agricultural Society has received a federal government grant of $9,200 to put on the 151st Paris Fair.  The announcement was made today by Brant MP Phil McColeman.  The fair runs from Sept. 2 through to Sept. 7.

“The fair is an important institution in our community,” said McColeman.  “It helps preserve our agricultural heritage, it brings us together, and it brings in folks from as far away as the US.  In these tough economic times those tourist dollars are important.”
