(Brantford) – Phil McColeman, Member of Parliament for Brant, today met with local business leaders, community stakeholders, post-secondary institutions and local politicians to discuss ways his Conservative Government can create more jobs and promote economic growth in Brant.
“I wanted to hear from business and community leaders from across the board on issues important to our local economy, so that I could bring those ideas back to Ottawa,” said Mr. McColeman. “I could not be more pleased with the valuable feedback that I received and the positive ideas that were generated on how we can continue to move our economy forward.”

Mr. McColeman’s roundtable was one of more than 150 economic consultations that have been held across the country by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his Conservative government. The Harper Government has been listening to and seeking the views of Canadians on the next phase of Canada`s Economic Action Plan.
