(Brantford, ON) – Brant MP, Phil McColeman, will participate in Canada Revenue Agency`s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). The CVITP helps eligible individuals to prepare their income tax and benefit returns free of charge.
“This program helps thousands of Canadians every year,” said Mr. McColeman. “I am pleased to participate and offer this valuable service to the constituents of Brant.”
Mr. McColeman will host income tax prep clinics on Tuesdays from March 22, 2011 to April 26, 2011 at his constituency office, located at 505 Park Road in Brantford. The clinics will be staffed by Canada Revenue Agency Volunteers and will be available to individuals with an annual income of $25,000 or less, and families with a combined income of no more than $35,000.
